Requesting an In-Kind or Silent Auction Donation from Your Neighborhood Peet’s Store
Our neighborhood Peet's stores support local schools and non-profit organizations in their communities through the donation of in-kind (ground coffee, brewed coffee, tea) and silent auction certificates. If you are interested in making a request for an in-kind donation of this type, please submit a letter in writing to the store manager. Your request must include the following information:
- Name of your school or non-profit organization
- Tax-id number
- Organization mission statement
- Name of Event and number of attendees
- Date of event
- Type of in-kind request
- Date of when the donation must be received
- Contact name and telephone number
Please note that requests are made on a first come first serve basis and it is strongly encouraged that you submit your request 3-6 months in advance. Please note: Peet's does not donate to political organizations or to organizations seeking donations for religious programs. We will consider requests from religious organizations doing community support services or arts/educational enrichment programs.
Requesting a Large In-Kind Donation from Peet’s Home Office
If your request is for an event sponsorship or a large in-kind donation is more than 500 attendees, you may submit your event and sponsorship proposal to Peet’s Home Office. Proposals should be very detailed, and include:
- Name of organization’s event
- Organization's mission statement
- Organization’s non-profit federal tax ID number
- Date of event or when the donation is needed
- Demographic and investment information
- Contact name and telephone number
Event Sponsorship Requests should be submitted one year in advance; Large in-kind donations must be submitted at least 6 months in advance to:
